“Thanks to SEVENTEEN’s seniors…we want to be the best rookie”
The rookie group TWS said that “We were able to attract a lot of attention thanks to SEVENTEEN seniors.”
TWS held a showcase to celebrate the release of their first mini-album “Sparkling Blue” on January 22, the Blue Square MasterCard Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
On this day, YOUNGJAE, a member of the group, first said, “I have been nurturing my dream of becoming a singer while attending a dance school since I was 9 years old. I am very happy to realize that my dream has come true. I will always remember this feeling and do my best,” he said, sharing his thoughts on his debut.
TWS is the first boy group to be released by Pledis Entertainment since SEVENTEEN nine years ago, and will be the first HYBE LABELS singer to launch their activities this year. The team consists of six elite members with great performance skills, visuals, and musical sense.
JIHOON said, “I cherish all the memories of our time together until we came together under the group name TWS. We want to be a team that is loved for our great music.” He added, “We are grateful for all the interest we have received since before our debut, and we believe that we have received this interest thanks to SEVENTEEN’s career and hard work. We hope to become a group that can showcase even more amazing music and performances,” he said, expressing his strong determination.
HANJIN added, “We will show you more of our hard work from now on,” while DOHOON said, “I am really thrilled and determined to work even harder. We will be a steadily growing TWS,” he said, expressing his enthusiasm for the debut.
Kyungmin also commented, “I am thrilled to be able to fulfill my dream of becoming a singer, which I have dreamed of since I was a child. I have a lot to show you, so I hope you will continue to pay attention and have high expectations for me.” Shinyu added, “I’ve been looking forward to this day because I’ve worked so hard to prepare. I’ve been waiting for this day to come because I’ve prepared so hard, and I’m going to work hard to become the best newcomer instead of the best promising one,” he said.
TWS’s debut album “Sparkling Blue” was released at 6 p.m. on the 22nd.
