NCT Jaehyun announces November 4 enlistment

Today, his agency SM Entertainment announced, “NCT’s Jaehyun volunteered to join the Army Military Band and received an acceptance letter from the Military Service today,” and that he will enlist on November 4 on active duty to fulfill his military service obligations.

His agency then announced, “Since the day of his enlistment in the new military training unit is a place where many soldiers and their families will be together, there will be no separate official event to prevent accidents due to congestion at the site.”

They added, “Until the day Jaehyun finishes his military service and returns to health, we ask for your continued support and love.”

Jaehyun is the second NCT member to serve his national defense duty. Prior to this, Taeyong enlisted in the Navy Military Band in April of this year.

Meanwhile, Jaehyun debuted with NCT U in April 2016. Since then, he has been active in groups such as NCT 127 and Dojaejung, a unit of NCT. In August of this year, he released his first solo album “J,” which was loved by fans.

After this announcement, Jaehyun said on the fan community, “I can say in words that I will be gone soon, or I can say that I will wait for a little while, but I am sure that I will miss you. I’ll be there in good spirits, so I hope you all stay healthy in mind and body.”
