YUTA of the multinational group NCT will debut as a solo artist in Japan, it was announced on August 5. Starting in October, the showcase tour “YUTA Solo Debut Showcase Tour ~ HOPE ~”  will be held in 5 cities in Japan.

At midnight on the 5th, one image was posted on the NCT Japan Official X. Amidst the instantaneous buzz that this was a preview of something from Yuta, the announcement of his solo debut and showcase tour was made at noon.

Yuta has been active as actor Yuta Nakamoto in group activities such as NCT, NCT127, and NCT U, as well as releasing numerous cover songs, serving as a radio DJ in Japan, and appearing in movies and TV dramas. With the announcement of his solo debut, his solo singing career is now in full swing.

The showcase tour will start with Fukuoka on October 5 and 6, followed by Hyogo on October 9 and 10, Aichi on October 13, Tokyo on October 17 and 18, and Osaka, the home of the show, on October 26 and 27. His first solo album and a variety of other songs that blend Yuta’s sensibilities will be featured on the stage.
