“Stray Kids x Deadpool & Wolverine”
new song ‘SLASH’ was released on July 23

“SLASH” was chosen as the featured song for the movie ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ which opens on July 24. 3RACHA, a production unit consisting of Stray Kids leader Bang Chan, rappers Changbin and Han has written for this film.

Stray Kids performed a stage performance inspired by the world of “Deadpool” in the program “KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR” broadcast on Mnet in Korea in 2021, and it was mentioned by “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds on SNS. This became a hot topic at the time.

Stray Kids members then became friends with Ryan as well as his good friend Hugh Jackman, until the two made a special appearance in the music video for the lead track “Chk Chk Boom” on the mini-album “ATE,” released on July 19. And now Stray Kids has collaborated with them to sing an insert song for a movie in which they appear.

For the film’s release, Felix and Bangchan are in conversation with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” is an action entertainment featuring the exploits of maverick Marvel heroes Deadpool and Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds plays Wade Wilson / Deadpool, who has been transformed into a hideous figure in exchange for his amazing healing abilities and immortal body through human experimentation, and Hugh Jackman plays Logan / Wolverine, who also has healing abilities.
