Fans rejoice at surprise announcement

BTS’ V, who is currently enlisted in the military, will release a love song perfect for spring days.

At midnight on the 4th (Korean time), his agency BIGHIT MUSIC announced through the global fandom life platform Weverse and BTS’s official SNS that V’s new digital single “FRI (END) S” will be released on the 15th at 1pm.

“FRI(END)S” is a love song in the pop soul R&B genre, with all lyrics in English. The image released with the announcement includes the song’s title and release date, and the pink background gives a glimpse of a lovely atmosphere.

Prior to this, on the 3rd of this month, a short video of his natural look was released through BTS’s official SNS, stimulating curiosity about the new content.

This is V’s first release of new music in about six months since his first solo album “Layover” released on September 8 last year. He has fully demonstrated his abilities as a solo artist through this album, and there is a lot of interest in what kind of charm he will show through his new songs.
