Second collaboration with Heize

MONSTA X’s I.M. released his digital single “Slowly” on January 23 at 6 p.m.

With a wintery vibe, “Slowly” is a medium-tempo genre song with lyrics about the emotions of a lover going through a breakup. Like the title, which means “slowly” or “gradually,” I.M’s distinctive calm and unhurried voice is impressive.

Heize co-wrote the lyrics and sang on this new song, creating a synergistic effect. Following “Distance,” this is the second collaboration between the two artists, and “Slowly,” which carries the colors of both artists, will leave listeners with a deep lingering impression.

Through his agency Sony Music Entertainmento Korea (Sony Music), I.M said, “I had the good opportunity to sing with Heize about the empty and lonely feelings of the breakup process,” and added, “It’s a song with good emotions, so I think you will feel the long afterglow. I hope you will love it a lot.

In 2022, he signed an exclusive contract with Sony Music and showed his presence with the release of “OVERDRIVE,” a mini-album filled with his own personality, followed by the successful completion of his first solo showcase. He has also been active in various festivals and plans to communicate with his fans through various contents as an all-rounder musician this year.
