“Enlisted” BTS Jimin to release new song “Closer Than This” on December 22…a gift for fans

BTS’ Jimin will surprise his ARMY (BTS fans) with a gift that he prepared for them before his enlistment.

According to his agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, his solo digital single “Closer Than This” will be released on the 22nd of this month at 2pm.

The song “Closer Than This” is said to be a fan song that contains Jimin’s heartfelt message to ARMY.

Earlier, Jimin released his first self-written song and fan song, “Promise,” via SoundCloud on December 31, 2018. At the time, he said,
“I’m finally going to release my own song. It is a song for me, but it is also a song for all of you. It’s my first song, so I’m not ready yet, but please listen to it a lot. Thank you ARMY people for waiting for it.”

While “Promise” was a song written as he reflected on his own struggles with thoughts, “Closer Than This” is a song that expresses his love for his fans and the promises he wants to keep through his lyrics.
