The group WayV is back with their new song “FREQUENCY,” a high-energy track.
The title track of WayV’s 6th mini album, “FREQUENCY,” which will be released on November 19 at 6 p.m., is an old-school hip-hop dance song with a heavy bass and intense drum beat.
The new song has an addictive hook over a boom-bap rhythm and the synergy of unique rap. The lyrics convey the message, ‘Let’s go to a new level by tuning into our frequency.
The performance of the title track “FREQUENCY” is filled with powerful hip-hop-inspired choreography, including catchy hand gestures to the introductory sound of the song’s chorus. WayV’s ability to remain relaxed in the midst of a wild performance is sure to capture attention.
After introducing funky old school with the title track “Give Me That,” the title track of their fifth mini-album released in June, WayV is making a comeback with intense old school this time around, and is expected to receive a good response from global fans with different moods of old school music.
The mood sampler, which was released on WayV’s official channels on November 11, shows the members as rogues performing unpredictable antics in a mysterious school setting, further raising expectations for the new album.
Meanwhile, WayV will release the pre-release song “HIGH FIVE” on November 19 at 6 p.m. KST through various music sites. They will then release the entirety of their 6th mini album “FREQUENCY” on November 25 at 6pm.
