THE RAMPAGE Shogo Iwaya debuts as a novelist.

Shogo Iwaya of THE RAMPAGE appeared at a press conference held in Tokyo on October 11 to commemorate the publication of his debut novelist work “Choice.”
Iwaya surprised the audience by revealing his writing environment.

Iwaya, who is known for his love of novels, including his own book-themed column series in which he talks with authors, constructed the story based on an original idea by actor Ryusei Yokohama, who is also a high school classmate of Iwaya.
He wrote the story over a period of about four years, making numerous revisions.
iwaya says that he worked hard on the story even while he was busy with his national tour and other activities.

He said, “I basically write at home, but in my writing room, I write in total darkness with only a computer and indirect lighting, with no lights on.
