GENERATIONS completes first tour with 6 members

GENERATIONS held the last day performance of their nationwide tour ‘GENERATIONS LIVE TOUR 2024 “GENERATIONS 2.0”’ at World Memorial Hall in Kobe on November 10. It was the first tour by the six members of the new group.

The group has reached a major turning point since Mandy Sekiguchi left the group in June of this year and before the 12th anniversary of their debut this month, they have held 12 shows in 7 cities across Japan since September to show their determination to take a new step forward to their fans.

In the first song “Evergreen 2.0,” the six members formed a circle to express their determination to embark on a new journey. They performed a total of 26 songs including “AGEHA,” “DREAMERS,” and “Endless Journey. The audience went wild with their passionate performance.

The group wiped away their anxiety together with their fans. Alan Shirahama, the leader of the group, revealed his feelings at the start of the tour, “I was so anxious that I had never stood on stage with such anxious feeling that the view I could see might change. Even so, Hayato Komori said, “Everyone delivered a lot of positive words that made me feel positive. I am so happy now that I wonder what my anxiety was before the tour started.” Yuta Nakatsuka also expressed his pride, saying, “The six of us are now invincible.”
Komori said, “You are all accomplices of the new era. Let’s continue to move forward together.” Komori vowed to create ‘2.0’ with the DREAMERS (a nickname for the fans).

Kenta Kiritani appeared as a surprise guest for the encore. The collaboration with Kiritani came about after he co-starred with Leo Sano in a TV drama, and he said, “I’m happy because it’s rare (to perform live). With Sanshin in hand, he sang “Umi no Koe (Voice of the Sea)” to great cheers. The members were very excited, and Sano said, “It was very emotional to have Kenta-san come to the final performance. I will never forget it.”
