Travis Japan to digitally release new song “T.G.I. Friday Night”
on March 18 Choreographed by s**t kingz

Travis Japan, a seven-member group, will release their new song “T.G.I. Friday Night” digitally on March 18. The announcement was made during the MC of their arena tour “Travis Japan Concert Tour 2024 Road to Authenticity” held in Osaka on March 21.

The title “T.G.I. Friday” is an acronym for “Thank God It’s Friday,” which in the West is written as TGIF, meaning “Today is Friday, thank God” or “Today is Friday! It is often used in e-mails and text messages as an expression of gratitude to God for the last day of the work or school week, Friday.

The song expresses a feeling of openness on Friday night before a holiday, and is being released simultaneously in two versions: the original version (English lyrics) and the Japanese version (Japanese lyrics).

The choreographer for the song is s**t kingz, a world-renowned Japanese dance performance group. s**t kingz and Travis Japan had a showdown in a masked choreography dance battle on Fuji Television’s “Ki7 ◎ x club” broadcast in December, and during the recording, s**t kingz said “If Travis During the recording, Matsuda promised that if Travis Japan won, he would choreograph a song for them.
