On July 29, it was announced that “Blissful,” the lead track from the seven-member dance and vocal group BE:FIRST’s second album “2:BE” (August 28), will be released for distribution in advance on August 12.

Lyrically, “Blissful,” by producer SKY-HI, is a celebration of life to date. BE:FIRST has made an impact with its hard-hitting tracks in the past, but this album marks a complete change of pace.

Over a pleasant track by ZEN (INIMI) that evokes the flavor of mid-2000s HIPHOP, he sings about how rough and tough the road has been so far, and how this moment is worth it to be able to spend time with friends who have suffered and worked hard together, and celebrate success without changing anything. Self-love, not self-love, but selves’ love shines preciously, as they raise themselves up and recognize each other without comparing themselves to others. Members MANATO and LEO also participated in the composition.

The second album “2:BE” will include BE:FIRST’s representative songs from 2023 onward such as “Boom Boom Back,” “Smile Again,” “Mainstream,” and “Masterplan,” as well as the collaboration song “Hush-Hush” with the eight-member Korean boy group ATEEZ and a total of 16 songs including new songs.
